You’ll enjoy thrilling game drives, a scenic boat safari along the Rufiji River, and a guided walking safari with expert rangers. Spot elephants, lions, hippos, and crocodiles in their natural habitat, and experience the African bush both on land and water. Your stay includes a comfortable safari lodge or tented camp, delicious meals, and the sounds of the wilderness all around you.
Start your day with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar and a short flight to Nyerere National Park (Selous). Enjoy a thrilling game drive through vast wilderness, home to elephants, lions, and the rare African wild dog. After a scenic bush lunch, continue exploring before heading to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by nature.

After breakfast, visit a Maasai Boma for a cultural experience, including traditional cooking and daily life activities. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, then head out for a scenic sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River. Spot hippos, crocodiles, and vibrant birdlife before returning for dinner and an overnight stay by the river.

After morning tea or coffee, you’ll depart the lodge and make your way around the reserve for an educative Walking Safari accompanied by an armed ranger, then you will head back to the lodge for your afternoon lunch and you will have ample time to relax. Later you will be transferred to Mtemere Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar or Dar es salaam Airport. Once you arrive at Zanzibar or Dar es salaam, our driver will drop you off at your hotel.
