Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Saadani National Park
Depart Dar es Salaam in the morning for Saadani National Park (approx. 4–5 hours). Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the only national park bordering the ocean, home to giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, and other wildlife.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive & Boat Safari
After an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive in Saadani, spotting elephants, antelopes, and other wildlife as the bush comes alive in the cool hours. Return for lunch, then in the afternoon enjoy a boat safari on the Wami River, where hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife thrive along the mangroves.
Day 3: Departure to Mikumi & Maasai Village Visit
After breakfast, depart early in the morning from Saadani to Mikumi National Park (approx. 7–8 hours). Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, visit a traditional Maasai village to experience their culture, customs, and lifestyle. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
Spend the day on a full-day game drive exploring Mikumi’s open plains and the Mkata Floodplain. Look for elephants, zebras, lions, giraffes, and hippos. Enjoy thrilling game drives through savannahs and along rivers, with a picnic lunch in the bush, before returning to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Mikumi to Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Ruaha National Park, which takes approximately 6–7 hours. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge for check-in, where you can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings, followed by an overnight stay in the heart of the park.
Day 6: Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park
Spend a full day exploring Ruaha National Park, famous for large elephant herds, buffalo, lions, leopards, and wild dogs. Enjoy thrilling game drives through savannahs and along rivers, with a picnic lunch in the bush, before returning to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Morning Game Drive & Fly to Dar es Salaam
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Ruaha. After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be met by our driver and transferred to your hotel.
